Durga

Durga is a prominent Hindu goddess, worshipped as a principal aspect of the supreme Mother Goddess, Devi. Her name in Sanskrit means 'the invincible one' or 'the inaccessible one'. She is often depicted as a warrior goddess, riding a lion or tiger, with multiple arms carrying various weapons, symbolizing her power and ability to combat evil forces. Her mythology is central to the Shaktism tradition of Hinduism, where she is revered as the ultimate power and creator.
