Éléanna is a French variant of the name Helen, which derives from the Ancient Greek name 'Helene' (Ἑλένη). The etymology of Helene is debated, but it is most commonly associated with the Greek word 'helene' (torch) or 'helios' (sun), both implying brightness or light.
