Zues

Zues is an alternative spelling of Zeus, the supreme deity in Greek mythology. His name is believed to derive from the Proto-Indo-European root *dyeu-, meaning 'to shine' or 'sky'. As the god of the sky, lightning, thunder, law, order, and justice, Zeus ruled Mount Olympus and was the father of many gods and heroes. He was often depicted with a thunderbolt, an eagle, and a royal scepter.

The name Zeus, and by extension Zues, has a long and profound history, being central to ancient Greek religion and culture.
