Zrubavel

Zrubavel is the Hebrew form of Zerubbabel, a significant figure in the Hebrew Bible. He was a governor of the Persian Province of Judah (Yehud Medinata) and is credited with leading the first group of Jews from Babylonian captivity back to Jerusalem in the first year of Cyrus the Great's reign. His primary role was to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, a task he undertook with the prophet Haggai and Zechariah.

The name itself reflects this historical context, literally meaning 'sown in Babylon' or 'born in Babylon,' indicating his birth during the period of exile. While the name has deep historical and religious roots, its usage has remained relatively niche, primarily within Jewish communities, due to its strong biblical association and somewhat complex pronunciation for non-Hebrew speakers.
