Zephyros

Zephyros, or Zephyrus in Latinized form, is a figure from Greek mythology. He is the personification of the West Wind, one of the four Anemoi (wind gods). Often depicted as the gentlest of the winds, Zephyros was associated with spring and fertility, bringing light breezes and nourishing rains. He played a significant role in various myths, most famously as the father of Achilles' immortal horses, Balius and Xanthus, with the Harpy Podarge. He also carried Psyche to Cupid's palace in the myth of Cupid and Psyche.

While a prominent mythological figure, Zephyros has been less common as a given name throughout history compared to other mythological names. Its usage tends to be more literary or symbolic, evoking imagery of nature, gentleness, and the changing seasons.
