Zephyr

Zephyr derives from the Ancient Greek word "Ζέφυρος" (Zephyros), which was the personification of the West Wind in Greek mythology. Zephyrus was one of the Anemoi (wind gods), often depicted as a gentle and benevolent bringer of light spring and early summer breezes. He was associated with growth and fertility, and in some myths, was the father of Achilles' immortal horses, Xanthus and Balius, by the Harpy Podarge.

While historically a male name due to its mythological origins, in modern times, particularly in English-speaking countries, Zephyr has seen increasing use as a unisex name. Its evocative sound and connection to nature contribute to its appeal. It remains relatively uncommon but is appreciated for its unique and ethereal quality.
