Zarathustra

Zarathustra, known in Greek as Zoroaster, is the prophet and founder of Zoroastrianism, an ancient Persian religion. His name is believed to be derived from Old Iranian elements. The religion he founded was one of the world's first monotheistic faiths and significantly influenced later Abrahamic religions. While the exact dates of his life are debated, he is generally thought to have lived in ancient Iran sometime between 1700 and 1000 BCE.
