Valeer

Valeer is a Dutch and Flemish form of the Roman family name Valerius. The name Valerius itself is derived from the Latin verb 'valere', meaning 'to be strong, to be healthy'. This root gave rise to many names and words associated with strength and well-being. The Valerii were a prominent patrician family in ancient Rome, producing many consuls and other important figures throughout the Roman Republic and Empire.
