Urvashi

She is one of the most beautiful and famous Apsaras (celestial nymphs) in the court of Indra, the king of the gods. Her most famous legend involves her love affair with King Pururavas, a mortal, which is recounted in various ancient texts, including Kalidasa's play 'Vikramōrvaśīyam'.
