Tïméo

Timéo is a modern French variant of the ancient Greek name Timaios (Τιμαῖος). The Greek root 'timao' (τιμάω) means 'to honor' or 'to value'. The name gained some prominence in ancient Greece, notably through the philosopher Timaeus of Locri, a Pythagorean philosopher who is a character in Plato's dialogue 'Timaeus'.
