Tiffiny / Theophania

Tiffiny is a variant spelling of Tiffany, which originated from the Greek name Theophania (Θεοφανία). Theophania means 'manifestation of God' or 'appearance of God' and was traditionally given to girls born on the Christian feast of Theophany, also known as Epiphany, on January 6th. This feast commemorates the revelation of God in human form through Jesus Christ, particularly the visit of the Magi to the infant Jesus.

The name Tiffany became popular in medieval England, especially after the Norman Conquest, as it was often given to girls born around the Feast of Epiphany. Over centuries, various spellings emerged, with Tiffiny being one of the less common but still recognized variations.
