Teizō

Teizō is a traditional Japanese male given name. Like many Japanese names, its meaning is highly dependent on the specific kanji characters used to write it. The 'Tei' (貞, 禎, 呈, 帝, 貞) component can carry meanings such as 'chaste, upright', 'auspicious, splendid', 'present', or 'emperor'. The 'zō' (三, 蔵, 造, 象) component often means 'three', 'storehouse, treasury', 'create, make', or 'elephant'. The combination of these kanji creates a name with a strong, often auspicious, connotation.
