Taava

The name Taava is a less common variant of the Aramaic name 'Tavitha' or 'Tabitha', which means 'gazelle'. Over time, in some cultures, particularly among Jewish communities, it has also been associated with the Hebrew word for 'good' (tov) or the Aramaic word for 'twin' (ta'ama). The 'twin' meaning is often attributed to its similarity to the Hebrew word for twin, 'te'om'.
