Serafien

Serafien is a variant of Seraphin, which ultimately derives from the Hebrew word 'seraphim'. In the Bible, seraphim are a class of celestial beings, often described as having six wings and being associated with fire, light, and purity. They are mentioned in the Book of Isaiah (Isaiah 6:2-7) as attendants to God's throne.

The name Seraphin gained some usage in Christian cultures due to its biblical association, particularly in Catholic countries. It was often given with the hope that the child would embody the purity and devotion attributed to these angelic beings. The 'ien' ending in Serafien is a less common, perhaps regional or stylistic, variation of the more standard 'in' or 'ino' endings found in other Romance language versions.
