Qussay

Qussay is an ancient Arabic name with deep historical roots. It is most famously associated with Qusayy ibn Kilab, a prominent ancestor of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Qusayy ibn Kilab was a powerful leader of the Quraysh tribe in Mecca during the 5th century CE, responsible for reorganizing the city and establishing many of the traditions that would later become central to Islam, including the custodianship of the Kaaba.
