Onezime

Onezime is the French form of the ancient Greek name Onesimos (Ὀνήσιμος). The name Onesimos means 'useful' or 'helpful' and was relatively common in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Its most notable historical association is with Onesimus, a slave mentioned in the New Testament's Epistle to Philemon.
