Okelo

Okelo is a name of Luo origin, a Nilotic ethnic group indigenous to western Kenya and eastern Uganda. In the Luo language, 'okelo' literally means 'born at night' or 'one who comes at night'. This naming tradition is common among many African cultures where children are named based on the circumstances of their birth, such as the time of day, weather conditions, or events occurring at the time.
