Nikolajs

Nikolajs is the Latvian form of the name Nicholas, which ultimately derives from the Ancient Greek name Nikolaos (Νικόλαος). Nikolaos is composed of the elements 'nikē' (νίκη) meaning 'victory' and 'laos' (λαός) meaning 'people'.
