Neree

Nérée is the French form of the Greek name Nereus. In Greek mythology, Nereus was the eldest son of Pontus (the Sea) and Gaia (the Earth), and was known as the 'Old Man of the Sea'. He was a benevolent deity, often depicted as a wise and truthful prophet, and was the father of the Nereids, fifty beautiful sea nymphs.
