Kyung Soon

Kyung-soon is a traditional Korean given name. Like many Korean names, it is composed of two Sino-Korean elements, which can be chosen from a large number of hanja (Chinese characters used in Korean) with different meanings but the same pronunciation. The first syllable, 'Kyung' (경), can mean 'respect, honor' (敬), 'scenery, view' (景), or 'capital city' (京), among others. The second syllable, 'Soon' (순), often means 'mild, gentle, pure' (順, 純, 淳).
