Kenau

Kenau is a rare Dutch female name, most notably associated with Kenau Simonsdochter Hasselaer (1526–1588), a legendary figure in Dutch history. She was a wood merchant who famously led a group of women in the defense of Haarlem against Spanish besiegers during the Eighty Years' War (1572-1573).
