Ibrahima is the West African and particularly Francophone African variant of the Arabic name Ibrahim, which itself is the Arabic form of the Hebrew name Abraham. The name Abraham holds immense significance in Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) as the patriarch from whom many nations and prophets are believed to have descended.
