Gengis

Gengis is a variant spelling of Genghis, most famously associated with Genghis Khan, the founder and first Great Khan of the Mongol Empire. The name itself, 'Chinggis' (as it is often transliterated from Mongolian), is believed to derive from the Mongolian word 'chinggis' meaning 'universal' or 'oceanic,' combined with 'khan' meaning 'ruler' or 'leader.'
