Garold

Garold is an English name derived from the Old German elements 'ger' (spear) and 'wald' (rule). It is a variant of the more common name Gerald. While Gerald has a long history in English-speaking countries, Garold emerged as a less common, perhaps more Americanized, spelling or variant.
