Frodeberga

Frodeberga is an ancient Germanic name, composed of the elements *frōdaz meaning 'wise, intelligent' and *bergō meaning 'protection, help'. Names with the 'berga' element were common among Germanic women, signifying strength and protection. While the exact historical usage is scarce, names of this structure were prevalent during the early medieval period among various Germanic tribes, including the Franks and Lombards.
