Delphin

The name Delphin has a dual origin. Primarily, it is derived from the Greek word "delphis," meaning "dolphin." Dolphins have long been associated with intelligence, grace, and protection in various cultures. Secondly, it can be linked to the ancient Greek city of Delphi, famous for its oracle and its association with the god Apollo. The name therefore carries connotations of both the marine world and ancient wisdom.

While its roots are ancient Greek, Delphin has seen sporadic use in Western cultures, often as a more unique alternative to names like Philip (which also has Greek origins).
