The most prominent Creusa was the daughter of King Priam of Troy and Hecuba, and the first wife of Aeneas. She perished during the fall of Troy, and her ghost appeared to Aeneas, urging him to flee and establish a new city. Another notable Creusa was the daughter of Creon, King of Corinth, who was betrothed to Jason after he abandoned Medea. Medea, in a fit of rage and jealousy, sent Creusa a poisoned robe and crown, leading to her agonizing death and the death of her father.
