Callirroe

Callirrhoe is a name of Ancient Greek origin, derived from the elements 'kallos' (beauty) and 'rhoe' (flow). In Greek mythology, there are several figures named Callirrhoe. The most prominent is a naiad, a water nymph, daughter of the river god Scamander. She was the mother of Tros, the eponymous founder of Troy, by Erichthonius. Another Callirrhoe was a daughter of Oceanus and Tethys, making her an Oceanid nymph.
