Anaxandridas

Anaxandridas is a name of Ancient Greek origin, derived from the elements 'anax' (ἄναξ), meaning 'lord' or 'master', and 'andros' (ἀνδρός), the genitive form of 'anēr' (ἀνήρ), meaning 'man'. This combination gives the name the powerful meaning of 'lord of men' or 'ruler of men'.
