Adolfine is the feminine form of the Germanic name Adolf. The name Adolf itself is derived from the Old High German elements 'adal' meaning 'noble' and 'wolf' meaning 'wolf'. While the masculine form Adolf gained significant popularity in Germanic-speaking regions, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, its feminine counterpart Adolfine remained less common.
